I’m Charlotte, a physical therapist turned full-time homeschool mom, entrepreneur, and Christ follower. I’ve lost precious time to busyness and idolized full work schedules. I once believed that being busy was better than being bored, which I equated to laziness. My relationships were failing in all areas of my life and I realized I needed to change.
Here’s my story:
Making straight A's through school was expected and I joined every club, sport, and organization I could to build up my resume for college. My overachieving habits carried into college and grad school. At the same time, I got married, built up debt, and had kids! While pregnant with my third child, I was earning my doctorate in physical therapy. I worked full time, but later convinced myself I should spend more time with my babies, so I joined the world of PRN physical therapy in outpatient, skilled nursing, and home health settings. But I was still working full-time hours juggling schedules and hustling for work between several locations! And at the same time, I began homeschooling my kids. Something had to give, so I began focusing on homeschooling and placed all my efforts into shuffling my kids between sports, music, community service, field trips, and co-ops. My habit of building and filling schedules was getting out of control. . . My marriage was struggling. My kids were burning out. The control freak was losing control. But then some very important people came into my life and shared the Gospel with me. They not only pulled me into church, but they pulled me into a new way of living. I was learning to find rest.
Now I’m passionate about time management and healthy habits, so I can spend more time on the things that matter most.

Please enjoy my journals and planners to help organize and motivate yourself toward wellness and rest! My plate is full as a wife, mom, homeschool hustler, and social butterfly. I’ve learned where I can make sacrifices and what my non-negotiables are so I can still do all the things I am called to do. And I understand the importance of rest when I need it.
Because, if you plan well, you have a better chance of avoiding hardship and trouble later.

I gave my life to Christ in 2017, but I am still in no way a perfect person. And I will continue to make many mistakes, but in my journey to know Him, I find comfort in His grace.
It took a long time for me to figure out how NOT to let work consume me. I’ve had to learn to enjoy life and let some things go.
